Where Can I Run To? A Letter from the Kneeling Place

πŸͺ” There are moments when the soul has nowhere else to run but the quiet space of surrender. This is one of those letters—penned from a heart that finds rest not in control, but in divine presence.

The Kneeling Place sometimes holds my fears and uncertainties.

Strange, isn’t it?

To feel safe in the presence of what unsettles you.

Here, I kneel... not always in strength, but in surrender.

Here, I whisper the thoughts I dare not say aloud:

the doubts,

the heaviness,

the ache for clarity.

And somehow, I am met...

not with answers,

but with Presence.

This place, though unseen, is where I am most known.

Problems spill freely here,

with the quiet certainty

that they won’t be overheard by ears that misunderstand.

Only Heaven listens this deeply.

So... where else can I run,

if not here?

You are my safe place and space,

holding me when I cannot hold myself,

making big challenges feel small.

Not by removing them,

but by reminding me:

I’m not alone in them.

Even in silence, You speak.

Even in waiting, You work.

Even in fear, You remain.

So I’ll keep returning to this place,

the Kneeling Place,

where surrender births strength

and my soul finds rest.

With love, from the Kneeling Place.
