Minding My Business

If I didn't have to look too deep into a hole,

On every pole,

that wasn't dug by me and for me,

I wouldn't be caught trespassing,

Maybe if I didn't have to tell a lie or two,

Against someone that is not on my toe,

I wouldn't be asked to walk carefully.

Maybe if I had invested my time building myself,

Than disrupting other's processes,

I wouldn't be loaded with excess,

If I had laid down in bed at night,

Curdled and slept like I should,

Erasing every evil thoughts for someone else,

I wouldn't be faced with plight,

If I had looked in my own mirror,

Without wondering what another man's mirror is made of,

I wouldn't be here , staring at myself in horror,

Wondering how my wonders wanders,

If I didn't have to get detailed scenarios of another man's diary,

I wouldn't be here, looking so weary ,

If I had taken out a little time, to constantly solve my own puzzle,

I wouldn't have been here chilling with a pizza with rumbles of quizzle,

If I had focused a little on my own audience,

I wouldn't have met a heartbreaking silence on my own stage,

If I had made "Minding my business" a hobby,

I wouldn't have had to deal with hiccups in my lobby.

This time, I had to walk on my own lane and find a solution to the pain,

Than getting entangled in another man's estranged world,

I don't want to be caught up in a web, when I have a page of circumstances,

To pull off the instances.

So, I sat back and made "Minding my Business a Hobby" and then it stopped being so sloppy. So, I embraced a lifetime busy employment.
